Iten Defense offers extensive production capabilities, supported by some of the largest processing equipment in the armor industry. This scale provides greater flexibility in design, as well as increased throughput and efficiency.

Our specialized equipment and expertise allow us to manufacture a wide variety of ballistic armor components for use in body armor, aircraft, watercraft, and ground vehicles serving both military and law enforcement markets. By leveraging proprietary technologies, we deliver superior ballistic performance while reducing overall weight — giving our customers a critical survivability advantage.

We also provide finishing options such as clear films, graphic decals, paint, and environmental coatings, along with customized kitting solutions to streamline on-site installation.

DEPARTMENTS

  • Material Cutting – State-of-the-art equipment ensures precise cutting and preparation of materials for processing.

  • Pressing – Large-scale and high-throughput presses provide both low- and high-pressure capabilities.

  • Waterjet Cutting – Standard and 5-axis systems enable virtually any shape to be cut with accuracy.

  • Painting & Finish Coating – In-house facilities deliver controlled, high-quality coatings quickly and efficiently.

  • Machining – On-site tooling and machining allow for custom tool creation, with match-metal tooling used to form complex composite shapes.

  • Assembly & Kitting – Final assembly of panels and kits, including nameplates, hardware, and accessories, is completed and packaged for streamlined shipment.
